March Madness

So I loaded all these pictures on her backwards.......oh well. The pictures tellt he story form the bottom up but I will tell it normal. ;0)
Spring Break is always either tons of fun or lots of 'I am soooo bored'. We had a little of both. First we started off by painting our old room which will now be Dawson's. He picked out colors and then changed them when we went to by the paint. It is not yet complete so this picture is in the process. And yes it is Fire Engine Red!! In the middle of the week we went to an open gym where Dawson and Taelor tumble. Breadon taught himself how to do a backflip and he is very pumped as the picture shows his happiness. Friday we left this boring town and went to Salt Lake. Saturday we got up and went to Hogle Zoo with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins. We had a blast!! Lots of baby animals to be seen. Monkeys, Elephants, Giraffes and lots more!! After the zoo we stopped by a little place called East High!! Yes the same East High where High School Musical was filmed. The boys didn't really want to get out but by the time we checked it all out they were excited about it too!!! I am such a High School Musical dork!!! oh well!! Then we traveld on down town to my Grandma's new apratment building and the kids went swimming. They had a blast!! After the got themselves all wore out we went back to Jennifer's and had pizza and played Mormon Bridge!! I did not lose and I was so proud of myself!! YES!! I almost forgot. Before we went back to my Aunts we stopped at a place called Hatch Family Chocolates. If you have seen the show on TLC called Little Chocolatiers that is where we went. I was so mad I forgot to get a picture. They were so good, worth every penny!!!! I highly recommend it next time you are in SLC area!! It was lots of fun and crazy madness to be had!!My Little fish

You are my Sunshine

The other day was BEAUTIFUL outside and Taelor wanted to go to the park. So away we went. I love love love spring and summer!! I live in the wrong state I think. I love to feel the sun on my face and be outside. Idaho is not a very warm place for many months of the year. So when it is nice, I make my kids go outside and enjoy it!! Taelor loves to be outside like I do. We had a great time together, swinging and playing!! I love the sunshine!!!

A big step....

Since Braedon just turned 12 he had a big decision to make. He knew that he wanted the Priesthood but was not sure who he wanted to give it to him. He decided on his 'Great' Uncle Jared. (For those not in this family it is a long story but he really is his great uncle.) Jared was honored and came to town with his cute son George and beautiful wife Sarah. We had a great time with them. I am grateful they made the trip and that Jared was willing to be there for Braedon as he made this big decision. I am proud of you Braedon and the choice that you made. I love you!! Thanks again Jared!!

Yippee!!

Dawson and Tealor had a fun meet this past weekend for tumbling. Dawson never wants to do these because he gets so embarrassed and therefore Taelor did not want to. I finally convinced them both to do it and that it would be fun. They were reluctant but agreed. Saturday they were both nervous telling me they forgot their routines and did not want to go. I told them "Oh you are going I already paid for it so be tough and let's do this!!" (Sometimes I am not the nicest mom) We got there and they both did very well!! Shane and Braedon came and watched them. They never see them do their tumbling mostly becasue they are always at some sport playing and coaching respectively. Braedon told his brother he was proud of him!! That means alot to me and to know that he cared enough to come watch. Taelor was so happy her Daddy was there to watch her. They both did great and didn't even mess up!! I am very proud of both of them for overcoming their fears and doing the meet!!

Shop Til' You Drop

Saturday after Braedon's final basketball game we went up to Idaho Falls to look around. We wanted to look at Furniture Row for some couches and things. The kids found a little bit of everything they 'thought' they needed. Needless to say we came out empty handed this time. (We will go back) Then we went to Old Navy to 'look'. Well that is one store I don't just 'look' in very well. Shane and the boys went to Best Buy and Taelor, my mom and I went to Old Navy. Taelor found everything and I mean everything she NEEDED to buy!!! She is walking around the store holding up shirts to skirts and finding leggings to go under them and sparkly shoes to complete the ensemble. We had a skirt, one dress, two shirts in my hand when Shane came back. Well then the boys needed something so they find their shorts and shirt. By then Taelor had found a swimming suit that she just had to have!!! She is under the rack on the shelf crying,"You never get me anything, all I want is this one thing and I know you won't get it for me." My mind and Shane's mind work a little differently when it comes to Taelor. I think get your grouchy little butt up you just got some outfits and now your complaining. I should put these back!!! Shane goes over and he tries to reason with her. Why do you want that? It is kind of a lot of money how about we find something else? Do you like this? Well while he is trying to reason with the crying kid in the girls clothes the boys are ready to leave. Grab her and lets go they keep saying. I thought the same thing but Shane was still trying to help her out so I went to try on some pants. I come out and they are still deciding. The boys are in the hall resting on couches by now. Finally the little Diva decides on two more shirts. Then we pay the bill and we are out of there finally!! Now everyone is hungry but we still have to go to Michael's because Dawson and I have gift cards we NEED to spend!! ;0) I find what I am looking for and Dawson is now the one searching for just the right craft things to buy. He has his arms full and my mom is carrying one and he still thinks he needs more. I convince him he doesn't need to spend his whole card, we will come back I still have money on mine too. So we leave and go to dinner. By then they are all grouchy and hungry and want to go home. To make things even better Braedon was at a sleep over the night before and stayed up till 3 am. I am not going to lie....THE BOY NEEDS HIS SLEEP!!! WE finally eat and get back to the car so they can watch a movie and the car ride can be a quiet as possible. AHHHHH peace.......... Shopping is fun but I am not so sure it is fun with 3 kids that are tired and spoiled!! What have I done!!! OH well I am not sending them back where they came from so I guess I will deal with each of them and their respective attitudes. I love them anyway!!! One of the outfits so badly needed!! (It is really CUTE!!)

12 already!!!

Braedon celebrated his 12th birthday yesterday. He is growing up so fast. I can't believe he is already that old. YIKES!!! He got lots of gift cards and some LeBron James stuff. The boy is all about basketball (well right now anyway)!!! On Saturday we had some of his friends over and went to the church to play basketball. They all had a good time .......including Shane!! Braedon has a great little posse of friends and they are so much fun to have around!!

They played 1/2 court lightning, pig, three point contest and a game with Shane and Kaden vs. Braedon, Hunter and Easton. It was alot of fun!! Happy Birthday Buddy!!! I love you and I am so glad I can call you mine!!!
