Finally some summer fun...

So last night we found some smoke balls from last year and decided to have some fun with them. We rolled one down the driveway and low and behold it made a pretty little dotted line so we got more and more and more until we now have a decorated driveway!! Then we wondered if you could hold them and draw.......so I gave it a try and it was obviously faulty because it blew up literally blew up in my hand and left me pink!!! My hand was pink along with dots all over my face plus a little piece in my eye. Which then caused my eye to water and change my clear contact into a bright pink one!!! It looked pretty freaky!! Shane was laughing so hard I am glad I wasn't hurt because I am not sure he would have been able to help me!! Lesson 1- smoke balls are better to be rolled than used as a drawing item!

I also had a yard sale this weekend and look what I found!!! The cutest little shoes that were Taelor's!! Her feet have grown just a little bit since then. They were way way to cute to sell. So needless to say they are tucked away safely!! ( The picture is turned and does not feel like turning the correct way apparently.)

Last week we got invited to go over and play outside at our friends house. The kids had a great time on the slip n slide and then having water fights.

Baseball officially came to an end last night when Braedon's team lost their game. It was pretty sad. I am not sure how the team felt but I was really enjoying their games and now with it FINALLY being baseball weather it was just getting good. I am glad Shane was able to coach Braedon this year and I am grateful the he played well this year. I can't help but wonder if they would have done better if he had not of smashed his finger on Monday. Maybe they would have won on Monday and gone in with more confidence last night but we will never know. Now we can sit back and relax while we wait for football to begin in August. Good job Giants on having the 3rd best record in the league!!! Good season boys!!

UGH!!

This excerpt is to complain and only that. Taelor has had a fever since Saturday afternoon and I took her to the doctor only for them to tell me that it is viral. Well of course it is. Why would it be something that I could give her medication for so we could both finally get some sleep. Not only that but I paid for them to tell me that when my balance was 0 when I went in. Since Braedon was born I have always had some kind of balance due at the doctor and now I have to pay for them to tell me to 'tough it out'. Maybe they should know that I am not a very patient person and I don't tough things out well. Thinking about what I just wrote perhaps I am having to tough it out to become more patient. Well I don't really like that idea!!! I hope the end of the sick tunnel is coming soon!! It is finally starting show glimpses of summer and I don't want to be stuck inside with my poor sick like kids. On that note I must go disinfect!!!

Really more rain......

Before it started raining and didn't stop I took my kids to a playground and we were playing a game of tag. I was chasing Braedon and he tripped!! He hit his side and this is what it left!! Ouch! It was way worse than this in the beginning. He vowed never to go play there again!!! We will see....

Then of course when it rains and rains with no sign of stopping, except for the occasional 15 minutes, you can grab a styrofoam egg carton and put worms in there and float them down the little river in the gutter in front of the house. That gutter of water has kept them quite entertained. You can splash and use pretty much anything that will float and send them down to the neighbors house. I think this is the only year where we have still been wrapping up at baseball games in the middle of June!!!! I am wondering when Noah is going to pull up in front of my house and want the dog, frog and fish back. On the upside my yard looks great!!!!!

Family time is best!

So this weekend we (me, my mom, and the kids) went to Salt Lake to have a little fun!! First we stopped in Layton to watch the Air Show at Hill Airforce Base at a park near my Aunt's house. It was so cool!! The planes were right over us and the sound was incredible!! Then we celebrated my cousin George's 3rd birthday there at the park. He is such a boys boy!! He loves anything that has to do with a ball. Taelor and Lizzie having fun in the sand.

Then after a fun day watching the airshow we went to the lake with my Aunt Jennifer and her husband Doug and their new boat!! It was very fun. We took turns hanging on the beach and riding in the boat. I wish I would have had my camera on the boat when Braedon and Taelor were riding on the tube. Water was splashing them in the face and they were holding on for dear life!! It would have been a great picture.

We had a great time. Thank you to everyone in Utah for sharing your weekend with us. Also a little shout out to Talan my other little cousin who celebrated his 1st birthday the same weekend in another part of Utah!! I love my family so much. They are so much fun to be with and they don't care if I am a little dorky!!!

Yep, she is mine!

If you see a cute little girl playing the the dirt at a Tee Ball game odds are she's mine. I can't for the life of me get her to stand up and watch what is going on. She is far more interested in becoming a dirt artist. However if there is someone on base that she can talk to then she is perfectly happy talking to them and distracting them while their coach is telling them to RUN!!! She is quite the social butterfly!! It is so different from watching her brothers play. First because now I am the coach and second because her brothers would actually play baseball. After a few games of telling her to stand up I think I will let the Picasso come out and she can draw away, as long as she looks up every now and then to make sure the ball isn't coming her way. At least she is having fun! All I can do is smile and say yep, she's all mine!!

Best Buddies

Dawson and Taelor have always been the best of friends. From the time she was born he loves to spend time with her doing whatever she tells him to ( she tends to get a little bossy) and he very rarely complains. They have so much fun together laughing over the sillest things and making up things to do and trying to make the other one laugh. Tonight they were at it again being silly so I decided to take a photo op. They are really cute together. I am glad they are best friends I hope it continues later in their life. It is times like these that I wish I had a sibling. Then they fight and that is the end of that thought!!! But really I am truly grateful they are mine and I get to watch all their craziness!!
