The task of taking pictures....

So Sunday we went up to get a couple of family pictures taken......this is what I get when I am trying to get my kids to do something. Wow good times!!! Braedon is a goof and Taelor just follows his lead. The good thing is it seems we got some pretty good ones. Really?

So despite our best efforts to show our Ram spirit and get the boys all ready to play it just wasn't enough. They did not play Ram football for some reason or another. Some kids played well while others just didn't. So too bad for us but the hopes of going to the dome will have to be postponed until next year......We will be back, bigger and stronger!! After all we are Ram Tough!! Braedon running a route for one of the almost touchdowns. :(

But we had a tailgate party afterwards and the boys had a good time!!

Taelor, Taelor, Taelor.....

Look at this face....sweet, precious adorable face. Now listen to the story that follows........ So we (My mom, me, Dawson, Taelor) were shopping for groceries at Walmart. Dawson was with my mom paying for hers and Taelor and I headed out to the car. She was a little irreverent in the store. She was LOUD, teasing Dawson, doing bascially everything I asked her not to do. So with the crazy child in tow we head to the car. She is singing the whole way. Just random songs!! We get to the car and I am loading all the groceries in and she is still singing. Then in the LOUDEST voice she proceeds to sing......."I like big butts and I cannot lie"!!!!!!! HELLO???!!?? What? Where? HUH? I stopped instantly and said TAELOR!! She thought is was hilarious and was cracking up. I said where did you get that? She says on the radio!! So to this I say thank you very much Z103!!!!! Sometimes I wonder about her......

Rams are undefeated!!!

I am so happy for our boys!!! They played hard and deserve to be UNDEFEATED!!!!! Now we just need to win one more to make it to the Dome!! Here we go boys!!

Sing a long

So everytime we get in the car to go somewhere my kids say "Turn up the radio". If it is a song they ALL like they crank it up even louder. Then proceed to all sing a long, trying to sing louder than the person sitting next to them. They crack me up. They make my car thump when, 'Party in the USA, or Tonight's gonna be a good night' come on. I am sure people think good grief why is she turning her radio up so loud!! And that leaves Shane to wonder why my speaker in my driver door is blown? GO figure.

3 kids 1 weekend

Rams won again!!! Hooray!! 6-0!! Braedon's team played on Saturday and they did great the first half of the game. Going into halftime it was 24-0!! Then I think they thought they had the game in the bag. They came out very flat in the last 2 quarters. Luckily they pulled it out and won again. I am not sure my heart can take many more of these close games!! It was great though and I think the boys realized that they need to play a whole game and not half a game. We have one more game before playoffs start!! Keep it together boys!! RAMS #10!!!!

In 4th grade you can decorate a pumpkin and win money for your classroom. Dawson heard about this and he was all over it!! He had been bugging his teacher for a couple days about it. (Persistent!!) So this weekend we dressed the pumpkin all up. It had to be a character from a book so we used the Pirates Past Noon, Magic Tree House Book. We cut apart an afro wig from last Halloween and glued and glued on his beard and hair. He really wants to win and I hope he does. Good Luck!!

So for Taelor's birthday she wanted her room to be painted pink. It is almost done. On Saturday I went and picked up this big 16x20 picture that I ordered from Costco and hung it on the wall above her bed. I absolutely love it!!!

Earlier in the week we got ghosted. (Like at Halloween when someone leaves a treat on your door step and runs away. Then you have to put up the ghost picture in your window and do it to two other people.) So Saturday night we were getting ready to return the favor to someone else. I told Taelor she could not tell the people we were ghosting that it was us. She looked at me seriously and said, "Mom I'm 6 now I can keep secrets." Then she walked out of the kitchen like 'Geez I can't believe I have to tell you that.' Good info for future reference.

Quick snap

So on Sunday before church I snapped a few pics of the kiddos and I think they turned out pretty good seeing as it was kind of on the fly. Braedon looks so grown up to me lately. Not sure where the the last 11 1/2 years went. His football game on Saturday was so awesome. They beat their rivals 20-8!!!! They played hard and smart and won with class. The other team had been talking trash to our team and I guess we showed them that actions are stronger than words. I was very proud of him and his whole team!! Dawson looks so very handsome in this shirt!! He has always been a ladies man and I think he always will. What is not to love? My personal favorite is the freckles on his nose.

Taelor just lost another tooth the other day. She was freaking out because it hurt and she wanted it to come out but her dad was not home. ( She has to have Shane if a tooth is loose.) I told her to grab a tissue and wiggle it. As she is wiggling it she says 'I can't!!' Then she sticks her tongue out and there is the tooth. She then says 'Well that wasn't so bad.' Silly girl!!
