I am so excited we are FINALLY finishing our basement. We have tried to do this twice but the third time is a charm. I am so happy my kids will have somewhere else to roam and be noisy!! Thankfully Shane is a handy guy or this would not be possible. We (or Shane mostly) have all been trying to get it done by Christmas. I don't know if that will happen but we are getting closer.
This will be a bedroom. Mine to be exact. It looks small but in a picture nothing is ever the size it really is.
This is the fireplace in the family room.
This will be part play area/ game area. The holes in the wall are a clubhouse Shane built for Taelor. It has a upstairs and down. She is thrilled!! I can't wait until I can take the final pictures!!

OH YAY!!!! i am so happy now that our basement is finished. we did it last winter. it's the BEST!!! i love taelor's playhouse! FUN!!!!

You will so love the extra space! I don't know what I would do without a basement. It took us a year to finish ours and now the thought of moving inot a house that doesn't have a basement makes me sick inside.
