Yeah!!!

So on Sunday after church Shane and the boys came home and started ripping up the "so called finished" basement. We have hauled everything out twice and slowly stuff started coming back in because we either ran out of time or money trying to finish it. Well I am here to say the third time is a charm!!! We made lots of progress. Everything is out and walls got ripped down. The boys had a blast banging out the walls with hammers. It think their favorite part was karate kicking the walls though. I asked the boys if they thought that finishing the basement could be part of our christmas? Braedon says, "That is fine but only if you get me a cell phone too." Dawson says, "Sure but maybe something else too." Taelor just smiled!! I really do hope it is getting done this time. I want somewhere else for the noise to go besides around me all the time!!! The boys also asked if they could get paid because they were working. I told them that for the basement to get finished everyone was going to have to help and dad and I aren't getting paid by anyone. To that they said," Well we are doing most of the work Mom. You didn't do hardly anything!!" I tell them that someone had to finish laundry, make beds with clean sheets, and fix dinner. They had nothing to say after that. Sometimes I think kids are ungrateful little buggers!!!! Oh well, they can think what they want. Maybe I won't tell them that keeping the basement clean is their new job!!! Hehehehehe!!
